On buying good meat
I’m a vegetarian. Well, not really. I eat dairy products, eggs and fish and few times a year I can enjoy good BBQ or good steak. Sometimes because of social convenience, sometimes just because there are some exceptional steaks or BBQ. However my family consists of meat eaters and we try to buy a good meat with no hormones, antibiotics, grass-fed and free-pastured. So far we are getting all of our meat from supermarkets (though probably we should research some local farms and meat suppliers) and sometimes it’s hard to know what exactly all these labels on meat actually mean and what are the rules for getting those labels like USDA Organic. Here’s a good guide:

It looks like “American Grassfed” is the best one with “USDA Organic” coming second, but you can decide for yourself.
